Tips to Follow When Purchasing a Pre-owned Range Rover

Range Rover is a dream car for many. To own this British masterpiece quick and easy, most customers opt for a pre-owned one rather than buying brand new.

Do you have any plans to purchase a pre-owned Range Rover? If so, then you have to purchase it only from reliable Range Rover Dealers in Dubai to avoid any inconveniences. Apart from this, there are other tips you need to consider to ensure a great shopping experience.

Here are few of them:

1)    Conduct research

Before you go to a trustworthy Range Rover dealer, you should do some research about the model you are intending to purchase. Keep note that you need to consider your needs, expectations, and requirements to be able to make the right choice. Moreover, you should have an idea of the past problems, issues or recalls pertaining to the pre-owned car you are interested in.

2)    Arranging finance

Apart from conducting research, you should also consider the options available for financing. Most reputable car dealerships offer flexible finance options, which helps you pay your purchase easily and conveniently. In addition, you should also consider the expenses for the following:

  • Interest rate for the financing
  • Car Insurance
  • Fuel costs
  • Registration

3)    Check the vehicle history report

When purchasing a pre-owned car, you may have many doubts pertaining to its history. You can clear your doubts with the help of the vehicle history report, which includes the following:

  • Auto service records
  • Recorded mileage
  • Number of previous owners
  • Reported accidents and repairs
  • Places and years of past purchases

As a buyer, you have the right and obligation to review the free vehicle history before signing the contract for the purchase.

The tips mentioned in this article must be followed when you are purchasing a used Range Rover to ensure a happy experience. So, what else are you waiting for? Check out the most reputable Dubai car dealers near you today!

2018 Audi RS 5 First Review

Audi Dubai Offers

Engineered specifically to battle the BMW M4 and Mercedes-Benz C63 Coupe is Audi’s new 2nd-generation RS 5, a high-performance 2-door coupe with aggressive bodywork and a powerful turbocharged engine complementing luxurious accommodations. With class-leading performance, and an opulent passenger cabin, Audi has crafted a premium sport car that is both track- and touring-ready — the best of both worlds for the discerning automotive enthusiast.

Beautiful European exterior styling with RS-only wide-body sheet metal

Audi has been hitting the ball out of the park for the past decade when it comes to exterior design, and the new 2018 RS 5 continues that winning streak. Building on the standard A5’s design, the RS takes things one step further with unique body panels that include new fenders and door panels, both widened to accommodate its aggressive stance. The overall appearance is functional, with the gaping front intakes swallowing large volumes of air for the intercoolers. The new RS 5 will turn heads from any angle.

Beneath that skin is new chassis architecture that relies on lightweight alloys to reduce overall vehicle mass. While the new curb weight of just under 4,000 pounds won’t put the Audi in the featherweight fighting class, it is lighter than its predecessor. Keep in mind that reducing curb weight improves handling, acceleration, and fuel efficiency.

A futuristic and luxurious interior, optimized for two occupants

Audi’s interior styling is as stunning as its exteriors. Ergonomically correct, and lavishly crafted, function and form are equally balanced — the RS 5 boasts one of the best driver-oriented cockpits in the industry. Premium leather upholstery, which is beautifully quilted on seating panels, contrasts standard carbon-fiber trim while a touch of bright aluminum increases the contrast. The automaker’s user-configurable digital Virtual Cockpit is standard on the RS 5, as is a helpful head-up display. Kudos to Audi for retaining rotary dials for the cabin temperature (with the digital reading on the dial face) and volume control — they are effortlessly functional. Unfortunately, the digital-based transmission shift lever, which returns to center after being actuated, takes some getting used to (and a confirming glance at the dashboard to ensure the vehicle is in the proper gear).

The front seats are firm and aggressively bolstered, yet very comfortable for torsos of all shapes and sizes. Plus, there is plenty of legroom for passengers well over six feet tall. However, the rear seats are a different story. The two passengers in the second row — there is a small plastic console in the middle that precludes a third occupant — will find accommodations cramped. We suggest kids only in that row (Audi fits the rear seats with a pair of child seat LATCH anchors).

A powerful engine accompanied by a wondrous soundtrack

Dropped into the nose of the RS 5 is a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 rated at 444 horsepower 443 lb-ft of torque (while some lament the loss of the predecessor’s V8, the new V6 develops significantly more torque than the outgoing powerplant — by a whopping 126 lb-ft). The new turbocharged engine, which shares architecture with a Porsche Panamera powerplant, is mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission driving all four wheels through Audi’s celebrated Quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system. The driveline is enhanced with active torque distribution and a sport rear differential to maximize the power delivery to the pavement.

Nobody will question the V6’s power after a test drive, as the RS 5 launches off the line in a blink — the automaker claims the 0-60 mph sprint takes just 3.7 seconds. Keep your right foot buried and the 2-door won’t run out of steam until it hits an (electronically limited) top speed of 174 mph. The sound accompanying the acceleration, bellowing angrily out of the vehicle’s signature twin oval tailpipes, is jaw-dropping.

Driving dynamics to match its appearance — with a touring disposition

Audi has tuned its new RS 5 for the track. This is immediately apparent when the drive-mode selector is spun to “Dynamic.” Throttle and gearbox response is heightened, which is welcomed, but the ride becomes harsh and brutal as the adjustable dampers move into their firmest setting. (Audi engineers said that they wanted drivers to feel a difference between the three settings — mission accomplished.) Our suggestion is to reserve that setting for nothing but glass-smooth surfaces.

That avoidable quirk aside, the 2018 RS 5 is plenty of fun in the twisty sections of road. Even though most of its weight is over its nose, Audi engineers have done an admirable job delivering favorable driving dynamics. Impressive grip from the wide tires (275/30-R20), and near-perfect tuning of the suspension, mean the coupe is stable and predictable at velocities well above posted limits.

But don’t be led to believe that the Audi’s only strength is driving hard, as a quick drive-mode change to “Comfort” diminishes its mechanisms to a much more civil temperament. We put hundreds of highway miles on the new RS 5 in this mode, and it emerged as an excellent grand tourer. With effortless passing power, comfortable seats, and responsive steering — plus a full suite of available advanced driving assist systems — we’d drive it across the country tomorrow without hesitation.

Demonstrating that six cylinders are greater than eight

Many Audi loyalists cried foul when the new RS 5 was announced with a turbocharged V6 instead of its celebrated V8, but we are pleased to confirm that there is no reason to be alarmed — the new model is better than its predecessor in nearly every aspect. The new chassis is lighter and more refined, efficiency has improved (estimated fuel economy jumps from 16 city/23 highway to 18 city/26 highway), and real-world performance is notably better thanks to the tremendous boost in torque.

While we aren’t ready to claim that the RS 5 is best in its premium segment — more seat time will be needed — this redesigned Audi left us with a very favorable taste in our mouths. It is available in Audi showrooms now, and priced at $70,875.

Range Rover Sport SVR Could Get Hardcore Stripped-Out Version

Range Rover Dubai Price

Test mules are already on the roads with two seats and a roll cage.

Weighing in at 5,093 pounds (2,310 kilograms) in U.S. specification before adding options, the Range Rover Sport SVR isn’t exactly a lightweight contender in the battle of the SUVs. The good news is Land Rover through its Special Vehicle Operations division is looking into ways to slash some of the fat and make the high-performance SUV even faster.

Lead vehicle engineer for the Sport SVR program, Ben Verrecchia, revealed in an interview with Australia’s Motoring he is a promoter of carbon ceramic brake discs as part of the Range Rover Sport SVR’s diet. It would lead to a total weight loss of 53 lbs (24 kg), but it’d to take more than just sourcing the braking system from the F-Type SVR. The engineer mentioned SVO would basically have to develop the brakes from the ground up and also fiddle with the SUV’s chassis to accommodate the new carbon ceramic setup.

A more drastic method to shave off weight is also being analyzed: getting rid of the rear seats. Verrecchia admitted SVO is already evaluating out on the roads stripped-out test mules with two seats and a roll cage. Such a hardcore version of the Range Rover Sport SVR would follow the Jaguar XE SV Project 8, a limited-edition four-door sedan offered in some markets with an optional track pack eliminating the rear seats.

If green-lighted for production, one has to wonder whether the SVO-tweaked version will go after the Nürburgring title for the fastest SUV considering the Range Rover Sport SVR is a former record holder. Back in 2014, it completed a lap of the Nordschleife in 8 minutes and 14 seconds, but since then the performance has been improved twice by the Porsche Cayenne S (7:59) and the Alfa Romeo with its Stelvio Quadrifoglio. The latter is the current record holder with a time of 7 minutes and 51.7 seconds, unless the Lamborghini Urus and the yet-unreleased Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid will have something to say about that in the near future.

Dubai’s Emirates to use BMW cars for business class chauffeur service

BMW Dubai Offers

Emirates’ new fleet in the UAE features BMW 520i Touring cars

Dubai airline Emirates will now be using BMW cars for its chauffeur service for business class passengers in the UAE, it revealed on Tuesday.

The new fleet, featuring BMW 520i Touring cars, is being rolled out from now until the end of the year, as the previous fleet of cars are retired, a statement said.

Emirates has been using Volvo cars for the service in the UAE.

The BMW 520i Touring, which offers generous luggage space, claims to be the ‘most connected vehicle in its segment’, with options such as a WLAN hotspot for mobile devices and wireless charging.

Johannes Seibert, managing director of BMW Group Middle East, said: “Our common goal is to enhance the passenger’s travel experience even further – by ensuring a luxury experience throughout their entire journey – from ground to sky and back.”

Emirates’ chauffeur-drive service is a complimentary ground transfer service available to customers travelling in first or business class and is available in over 75 of its destinations worldwide.

The car fleet upgrade is part of Emirates’ ongoing investment in products and services – onboard and on the ground.

Earlier this year, the Dubai airline revealed a multi-million dollar cabin interiors upgrade programme for both its A380 and Boeing 777 fleet.

As part of the programme Emirates unveiled an enhanced onboard lounge for its Airbus A380 aircraft.

The new lounge, publicly unveiled at trade fair ITB Berlin in March, is being installed in one of Emirates’ brand new A380 aircraft and will make its operational debut in July 2017.

Last week, the carrier also announced that it will unveil a new first class product for its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft at the Dubai Air Show in November.

The new first class cabin will feature six private suites laid out in a 1-1-1 layout, compared to the existing eight private suites in a 1-2-1 layout on Emirates’ existing 777 fleet.

The airline’s new Boeing 777-300ER will also include other new features in the business and economy class cabins, a statement said, without elaborating.

BMW uses hybrid to plug the fuel and electric gap

Exotic Cars Dubai

Five iPerformance models have made it to regional showrooms and more coming through

Dubai

Closing the gap between the fuel-driven present with an electric future can be quite the task for carmakers. But BMW believes it has the plug-in solution to make that happen — hybrids.

In this region, the luxury automotive marque is steadily adding to its hybrid options on key models, and coming under the “iPerformance” branding. There is not much fanfare accompanying any of this, but just getting the word out is more than enough, according to a top regional official. Currently, there are five hybrid versions available, including the 330e, the 740e xDrive and X5 Drive 40e. (And then there is the i8 sports car for those buyers who can mix a lot of discretionary spending power with being environmentally conscious.)

“Most were introduced in 2017 and we will slowly ramp up,” said Johannes Seibert, Managing Director at BMW Group M.E. “We want customers to know there is a new option besides the petrol models and while they wait for the electric cars.

“If there is a technology that bridges the petrol age and the electric, those are the plug-in hybrids.”

For local customers who still want to bide their time for an electric BMW version, they will need to wait until the end of this year. Because that is when the carmaker expects its dealership to start showcasing the i3 S, the sportier version to its battery-driven city car. The i3 S packs in 184hp to the standard model’s 170, and claims a 0-100 km/h in a nifty 6.9 seconds.

It was in May 2016 that the first i3 in Dubai was delivered to Dubai Police, for testing purpose. “At the moment, we are in a testing and homologation period for the i3s,” said Seibert. “We are not in a hurry (to launch). We share the enthusiasm of Dubai within the smart city concept on electro mobility, and we want to be here with the right product at the right time.

“Before that, we are introducing the i8 Roadster in the second quarter of this year and this is one of the best looking BMW models I’ve ever seen.”

BMW’s regional operations have just come off a fairly strong November … or as strong as the market situation has allowed it to be. It sold 2,928 BMW models, a gain of 4 per cent over the November 2016 tally. For the Mini range, the November 2017 numbers were up 3 per cent.

“I would say it was driven by a mixture of pre-VAT demand,” said Seibert. “But we are also seeing that — slowly — real customer demand is stabilising. The premium segment in the second-half of 2017 looked a bit better.

“In the year to November, the premium segment in the region is still down compared to 2016 by a low double-digit number. I would say, roughly, by 10-12 per cent. Looking at the surroundings, a stable performance for us is a good achievement.

“We forecast that 2017 will be on or slightly above 2016 levels. That’s our key ambition — it’s very much about relative performance.”

BMW in the Mideast can always call on the X factor

BMW just keeps adding to its X factor. Regional showrooms have just welcomed the X3 and by the end of the first quarter of 2018, it will be jostling for attention alongside the X2. Chances are both models could help the carmaker pick up a sales boost in the first-half of this year. And come in handy when Saudi Arabia formally allows women to get behind the wheels.

“In these markets, it’s very much about the X models — the X5 continues to be the most sold model before 7- and 5 Series,” said Johannes Seibert. “The X3 and X2 come in a segment where there is very little competition. The share of X models in the region was at 57 per cent even before X3’s launch. We can expect that this will go even beyond this level.”

BMW in which Tupac Skakur shot for sale, $1.5 million

Car Dealers Dubai

The 1996 7 Series BMW in which rap legend Tupac Shakur was a passenger when he was murdered nearly 22 years ago is for sale. The asking price is $1.5 million.

The BMW is on display for the first time at the Celebrity Cars Las Vegas showroom at 7770 Dean Martin Drive in Las Vegas.

Musician and producer Marion Hugh “Suge” Knight Jr. was driving the car on Sept. 7, 1996, when, at the intersection of East Flamingo Road and Koval Lane when a gunman fired four .40-caliber rounds into the passenger side of the vehicle.

Shakur was hit in the arm, thigh and twice in the chest. He died four days later.

When Skakur was shot in the vehicle, it was on lease to Death Row Records.

Las Vegas police impounded the car shortly after the shooting and later auctioned off. It’s had a few owners before it was fully restored. It’s the the first time the public has seen the car in years.

The car’s location was unknown for several years, according to Ryan Hamilton, general manager of Celebrity Cars.

According to the car’s pedigree, its most recent owner discovered the vehicle’s history and had it verified and inspected by BMW of Las Vegas in 2016.

The vehicle identification number on the windshield matches the number of the vehicle leased by Death Row Records, according to a letter from the dealership. The odometer reads 121,045, more than 100,000 miles greater than from when Shakur was shot.

“We’ve had people fly in from across the county to see it,” Hamilton said. “We’ve had people making offers on it from across the world like Europe and Dubai.”

No one has bid on the vehicle at its current asking price.

“I don’t feel like its going to go to a serious collector,” said Hamilton. “I think it’s going to go to the type of guy who bought the Wu-Tang album for $2.5 million.”

BMW Middle East and Art Dubai Sign Partnership to Promote Art

We’ve grown used to seeing a huge amount of special BMWs being delivered in the Middle East, especially thanks to the people over at BMW Abu Dhabi. Their creations can be considered by some as art but when it comes to the real deal, BMW Middle East has things covered, as it recently announced the signing of a long-term partnership with Art Dubai. The goal of this joint-venture will be to promote art and culture in various ways.

The three-year partnership, in collaboration with AGMC, the official BMW Group importer for Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, is the latest initiative in BMW’s long-term arts and cultural engagement. For the past five decades, BMW has been partnering with hundreds of initiatives worldwide in the fields of jazz and classical music, modern and contemporary art, as well as architecture and design.

During Art Dubai, Dr. Thomas Girst, Global Head of Cultural Engagement, BMW Group will lead the BMW panel discussion on the topic “Powerplay: Gallerist, Collector, Curator, Artist – Who is the most influential?” Commenting on the partnership, he said: “It is amazing to see how Art Dubai has thrived since its inception. The fair has strengthened contemporary artistic practice in the region and furthered a broader dialogue about the arts in general. We are certainly proud to become part of Art Dubai this year and to bring our network and know-how to the table as a long-term partner of culture across the globe.”

During Art Dubai, guests also can visit the BMW area to find out more about BMW Contemporary– a local initiative exclusive for the Middle East, which aims to strengthen intercultural dialogue, and spark curiosity and imagination.  Johannes Seibert, Managing Director, BMW Group Middle East said: “BMW Middle East and AGMC have long been supporters of arts and culture in Dubai, most recently with our BMW Contemporary series. We look forward to supporting another platform for artists to share their stories and work at Art Dubai over the next three years.”

As a real highlight the BMW area will also host the BMW Concept 8 Series, the essence of a modern-day BMW coupe wrapped up in an enthralling design study. It is open to all visitors to the 12th edition of Art Dubai, at Madinat Jumeirah from March 21 – 24, 2018.

AGMC, the official importer of BMW Group products for Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, has broken ground at the site of what will be a new multi-million-dirham BMW and MINI facility in Dubai Motor City.

The 100,000 square foot showroom and aftersales facility will feature virtual reality technology to allow customers to immediately bring up lifelike, three dimensional images of any BMW or MINI model on a smartphone or tablet, via which they can walk around them, open doors, and even ‘step into’ the vehicles.

Stathis I Stathis, managing director of Albatha Automotive Group, the parent company of AGMC, said: “This latest investment will allow us to cater to the increasing demand of both the BMW and MINI brands, and bring the highest levels of service to our loyal customers.”

He said the facility has been designed to provide customers with the opportunity to experience and be immersed in the brand, including a dedicated sales area for luxury segment vehicles.

It will also embody a series of latest customer engagement features put in place to help BMW and MINI stand out in a competitive market.

These will include a Mobile Customizer, an iPad App enabling live car configuration and demonstration during consultations, and a Virtual Product Presentation.

This includes Product Geniuses – experts whose sole role is to educate car shoppers about the various choices, explain the products and help the customer to understand them in more detail.

Johannes Seibert, managing director of BMW Group Middle East, said: “The new BMW and MINI dealership in Dubai Motor City is the next step of our customer centric expansion strategy. Catering for our customers in the south of Dubai, the new facility will take BMW and MINI brand experience to new levels, and be an icon for the premium car dealership of the future.”

AGMC said it has invested more than AED100 million over the past five years across all areas of the business to cater for the growth of the BMW Group brands and to enhance the overall customer experience.

Designers For Bentley And Maserati Discuss The Inspiration Behind A Pair Of Ultra-Luxury SUVs

Best Car Showroom in Dubai – Bentley Dubai

From the Jaguar I-Pace to the Lexus UX, SUVs dominated the Geneva International Motor Show this month. I sat down with two designers – Philippe Starck, the multi-faceted French impresario who created the electric charging port for Bentley’s first-ever battery-powered variant, the Bentayga plug-in hybrid, and Klaus Busse, the FCA design boss who oversaw the Maserati Levante – to learn about the inspiration behind a pair of ultra-luxury off-roadsters generating some buzz.

Debuting at the Geneva show, the Bentley Bentayga plug-in hybrid can travel 31 miles on battery power before reverting to its turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine.

How do you complement the design aesthetic of a Bentley with an electric charging port?

You know, ecology is not a choice. I’m always surprised when journalists ask me, ‘What do you think about ecology?’ We don’t have to think about it; we just have to do it, everywhere, in every minute. The [plug-in] Bentayga is the ultimate mix of the best of two worlds – the tradition of perfect work by hand and the future of ecology and electricity. Some people think ecology is a punishment, and it is not. It can be a pleasure.

What are your favorite elements in the Bentayga plug-in hybrid?

I love everything that’s a high level of quality. I am not a car aficionado. I don’t drive a car. I drive motorcycles, I ride an electric bicycle, I fly a plane, but I don’t use a car. My wife has had a Bentley for 20 years. But for me, I love the spirit of Bentley and when people buy it for the right reason – for the quality. I love the Bentayga because it’s a very comfortable car. It’s an SUV that can go everywhere, and for me, a car has to go everywhere.

Klaus Busse, head of design at Fiat Chrysler, led the development of Maserati’s first-ever SUV, the Levante. Launched in 2016, the nameplate is now the Italian brand’s bestseller.

Where did you look for design inspiration for Maserati’s first SUV?

You will not see me finding any inspiration at the Geneva Auto Show. That doesn’t mean that my colleagues and all of the other brands don’t do an amazing job. It’s quite the opposite – they do. But how can I take inspiration from something that someone did at least three or four years ago to inspire me for something I want to launch in another three years? That’s a six-year gap. So I have to refuse to look for inspiration at Geneva and instead gauge where we are as an industry, which trends worked and which ones didn’t.

Where do you like to find inspiration then?

I find more inspiration sitting at Piazza San Carlo having espresso and seeing people walk by. I love absorbing the Italian culture, because that’s much more inspiration for what we do. When you see an Italian dandy walking by and you think, ‘Your pants are too short, dude,’ and you would only focus on the short pants, but when you look at the overall statement, you think, ‘Oh, this is actually pretty cool.’ With Italian design, if you look at elements in isolation, it can be strange, but when you look at the overall picture, you realize it’s an amazing work of art.

Keep your jewels secure in Bentley’s new biometric storage bin

Best Luxury Cars – Bentley Dubai

Aluminum storage bin with fingerprint recognition now available for the Bentayga SUV.

“Whether it’s the ring you inherited from your mother or those sunglasses you can’t buy anymore, we all have items of value that we sometimes need to leave in the car.” Ain’t that the truth. Sometimes I nervously leave my prized Jawbreaker CDs just sitting there on the passenger seat. Thankfully, Bentley has a solution.

The ultra-luxury automaker now offers a biometric storage bin for the Bentayga SUV. It’s constructed from aluminum and uses fingerprint recognition technology to provide secure stowage of all your valuables.

Designed by Bentley’s “personal commissioning division,” Mulliner, the storage bin takes up space in the Bentayga’s center console, hidden underneath the arm rest. The inside is lined with a rubber mat featuring Bentley’s diamond pattern, and there are two USB ports and an aux outlet, both of which are connected to the Bentayga’s infotainment system.

A 360-degree capacitive fingerprint reader is housed inside a chrome, Mulliner-branded bezel on the bin’s lid. An LED light shines white when the system is on and operative, and changes to green when an approved fingerprint is recognized, or red if an unfamiliar finger dare grace said touchpad. Bentley says multiple fingerprints can be stored in the system, meaning other authorized friends and family members can also utilize the bin. The car’s ignition must be switched on in order to operate the storage bin, and should the whole system fail, a key-operated lock is located under a rubber seal on the lid. You know, just in case.

Of course, none of this will protect the $160,000 Mulliner Tourbillon by Breitling clock nestled in your Bentayga’s dashboard.

Assuming you can already afford the $229,000 asking price of a Bentayga, you’ve probably got some expensive stuff in tow when you’re on the go. The biometric storage bin seems like a smart solution to us, no matter if it’s grandpa’s watch you’re worried about, or just your favorite pair of shades.

BENTLEY WILL TURN TO PORSCHE MISSION E TECH FOR ITS OWN EV

Bentley car Showroom in Dubai

The sporty EV should be here “not so far in the distant future.”

Porsche isn’t the only one planning a flagship EV; as the German marque readies its Mission E for production, Bentley is reportedly gearing up for an entire range of electrified vehicles and pure EVs by the year 2025, beginning with the Bentayga plug-in. But the British brand could also be an early adopter of the Mission E platform as new reports suggest Bentley could develop a four-door electric vehicle of its own.

According to AutoExpress, Bentley is considering using the Mission E platform to build a four-door EV focused on luxury and technology more so than outright performance. Design Diretor Stefan Sielaff, in an interview with the publication, suggested that an electric vehicle is “something I am extremely convinced we have to do.”

“The next step for sure is an electric, unique Bentley that isn’t based on an existing car but a completely fresh and new development, with electric propulsion and obviously different proportions following the function,” said Sielaff. “It gives us a great chance to establish a completely new design language for the company.”

Already Bentley has hinted at that new design language, centered around an electric vehicle, in the form of the EXP 12 Speed 6e concept that introduced in 2017. That convertible concept eventually gave way to the EXP 12 Speed 6 Coupe, which translated that same stunning design language into a more conventional coupe with an electric powertrain. But don’t expect an electric coupe that mimics the EXP 12 just yet.

“It should be a four or five-seater and it should also have the possibility to carry a little bit of luggage, maybe not for five people,” Sielaff added. “I think we need to make sure that this family member is obviously new, and not imitating another concept we have already in the portfolio. But definitely more than two seats; that’s something I am convinced of.”

With the Bentayga already confirmed for a plug-in option and potentially even a full electric version, the next logical step would be a sporty sedan. Even Sielaff admits that it needs to be sporty; “I don’t think it should be something that is raised high, like an SUV,” he said.

Discover the Signature Safety Features of Cadillac Models

Many people dream of buying luxury cars in Dubai, but only a few are lucky enough to own one. Normally, customers consider a number of aspects when planning to drive home a car they are setting their sights on.

Here are some of the signature features that you can find in Cadillac.

  • Anti-lock brakes

ABS brakes are designed to automatically sense when the tire has stopped rotating under extreme braking conditions. This, in turn, modulates the brake pressure and allows the tire to rotate. This also increases the car’s ability to turn while braking.

  • Stability Control

This feature senses when the car exceeds the handling and reduces the engine power by applying the brakes to help prevent the driver from losing control.

  • Front-impact airbags

This feature protects the heads of both the driver and the passengers from a frontal crash.

  • Side impact

Side-impact airbags for the front and rear seats are designed to protect the torso during side impact collision.

  • Overhead airbags

This special feature protects the occupant’s heads in the event of a side collision or rollover.=

  • Pre-tensioners

They automatically tighten the seatbelts to place the passengers and drivers in optimal seating position during a collision.

  • Security system

In the Cadillac, you will also find a high-end security system which is capable of anticipating as well as detecting unwanted vehicle intrusion. Most models under this marque are also equipped with an ignition disabled device which is designed to prevent the engine from starting if you are not using the correct original manufacturer key.

These are just some of the key features which make Cadillac a favorite among customers. Purchase this American car only from reliable dealers in UAE to ensure a successful buying experience. What’s more, many trustworthy Cadillac showrooms also offer exclusive Cadillac deals in Dubai, so you will surely have a win-win situation.

Bentley design boss teases upcoming electric flagship

Bentley Dubai price – bentley dubai

Stefan Sielaff waxes enthusiastic about Bentley’s future electric car plans and leaves us to wonder what it might look like.

Because everyone ever is making plans to build fully electric cars, Bentley has announced its plans to build an electric flagship vehicle using technology from Porsche’s Mission E electric sports-GT.

“The next step for sure is an electric, unique Bentley that isn’t based on an existing car but a completely fresh and new development, with electric propulsion and obviously different proportions following the function,” Stefan Sielaff, design director for Bentley, said in an interview with Auto Express.

He went on to say that he envisions the vehicle as being roomy enough for four or five people with plenty of room for luggage. This sounds like some kind of electric Bentayga situation, but if it ended up being more along the lines of a Continental GT shooting brake, you wouldn’t hear us complaining.

“I think we need to make sure that this family member is obviously new, and not imitating another concept we have already in the portfolio. But definitely more than two seats; that’s something I am convinced of.”

In reality, it will likely end up being a four-door coupe kind of like the Audi A7, Porsche Panamera or Kia Stinger, which is cool, but not Ferrari FF cool, you know?

“I think we have to definitely adapt the proportions to the technical demands, and make a new statement,” Sielaff said. “But nevertheless this is then the fine art of doing all this. It has to be at first glimpse a Bentley.”
