Whether you are into the thrill of driving and racing or you simply love everything about automotive, the UAE has a lot in store for you.
The following are the top attractions in the country for an automotive aficionado like you:
- Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi
Here’s where the real action on the racetrack takes place as you can get the chance to drive a real F1 racecar. The track hosts the annual F1 Grand Prix, with the race happening on November 26 this year. Moreover, the track holds minor automotive events, which include the Super Street Challenge, Yas Racing Series, Ferrari Asia Pacific Challenge and the TRD 86 Cup.
- Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi
This grand indoor theme park boasts a number of rides and roller coasters, one of which comprises the globe’s fastest—the Formula Rossa—which speeds up at 240km/h in 4.9 seconds. Here, you can also drive a simulated Ferrari car on a virtual Yas Marina Circuit. What’s more, the park features an interactive gallery, exhibiting different Ferrari luxury sports cars, information about the make and design of the vehicle and more.
- Dubai International Motor Show
This year, the Dubai World Trade Center will host the biennial Dubai International Motor Show from November 14-18. The event will include several displays, including some of the world’s most exotic cars from international automakers such as Aston Martin, Alfa Romeo, McLaren, Ferrari, Maserati and more.
- Dubai Autodrome, Motor City
This is the place where you can unleash your adrenaline for action-packed racing, including Formula 3 and Formula 4. What’s exciting is that at the arena, you can learn to drive a racecar or sign up for an indoor or outdoor kartdrome activity. Mark your calendar as on September 15, the Autodrome will exhibit the region’s sole motorsport expo, Emirates Motorsport.
