The latest Range Rover Sport, featuring a new level of technology, capability, efficiency and performance, has made its world premiere at the recently concluded Dubai Motor Show.
Since its launch in 2004, this iconic British luxury car has sold over 732,000. In fact, its unparalleled refinement, signature design and impressive performance has paved the way for it to star on TV series and movies worldwide.
According to Gerry McGovern, Chief Design Officer, Land Rover, when they began the design process with the new Range Rover Sport, it was critical that they maintained its sporting capability while evolving the exterior design. He also noted that the addition of design-enabled technologies, such as their new infotainment system and the LED headlights showcase their drive towards greater desirability for the customer.
The SUV’s exterior has been modified to complement and modernize the design, making the Range Rover Sport look more dynamic without modifying its character.
At the front, the new design is made more striking by intelligent Pixel-laser headlights that sit along a redesigned grille. Complementing this is a new bumper with a more aggressive profile.
In the interior, both the driver and passengers will enjoy the state-of-the-art features that the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system has to offer. There are also two HD 10-inch touchscreens that form the centerpiece of the minimalist cabin.
What’s more, in-car connectivity is improved with up to 14 power points, including a domestic plug socket to keep laptops and other devices neatly topped up. The launch of the Jaguar Land Rover Activity Key also brings new heights of convenience to the Range Rover Sport, thus enabling customers to lock and unlock their vehicle without carrying a key fob.
